Answer and Making a call

Making an outside call:

  1. Dial 9
  2. You will now hear dial tone and be able to dial out.

Making an internal call:

  1. Dial the extension of the person who you are trying to reach.

Parking and retreiving a call.

  1. While on an active call press PARK 1 or PARK 2. The caller is now holding.
  2. To pick up a pick up a parked call, press the park button that is blinking and press CONNECT.

To end a call:

  • Hang-up the handset if using the handset.
  • Press DROP or SPEAKER button if using speaker.

 


Using Your Voice Mail

Recording your greeting:

  1. Press the MESSAGE button.
  2. Scroll down to GREETING and press SELECT.
  3. Press RECORD.

Checking messages:

  1. Press the MESSAGE button.
  2. Scroll to LISTEN and press SELECT.
  3. Scroll to NEW, OLD or SAVED and press SELECT.
  4. Scroll to the message that you want to listen to and press PLAY.

Transferring a message to another users mailbox:

  1. While listening to the message press MORE.
  2. Press COPY.
  3. Press RECORD if you would like to record an introductory message.
  4. Press SEND TO.
  5. Dial the extension or use the DIRECTORY to search by name.
  6. Press ADD.
  7. Add additional extensions to receive the message or press SEND.

 


Conference Calls

Starting a conference call:

  1. Press CONF while the call is active.
  2. Dial the number of the next party. (Internal or External)
  3. Press CONF to add the new party to the call.
  4. Repeat steps above to add further participants. (Up to 32)

Dropping or Muting Parties in a Conference:

  1. While on a conference call press DETAILS.
  2. Scroll to the party that you want to drop.
  3. Press DROP or MUTE.

Exiting a Conference Call and Leaving the Others Connected:

  1. While on a conference call press CONF and hang-up.
  2. To re-enter the conference, press your blinking appearance button.

 


Transferring a Call

Transferring a Call to Another Extension:

  1. Press TRANSFER while the call is active.
  2. Dial the extension you want to transfer the call to.
  3. When ready to complete the transfer, press TRANSFER again.

Transferring a Call to an Outside Number:

  1. Press TRANSFER while the call is active.
  2. Dial 9 and the number that you want to transfer the caller to.
  3. When ready to complete the transfer, press TRANSFER.

Transferring a Call to a User's Mailbox:

  1. While on an active call, press MESSAGE.
  2. Dial the user’s extension number who should receive the message.
  3. Press SELECT.

 


Extras

Forwarding Your Extension:

  1. Press the CALL FORWARD button on your phone.
  2. Now dial the extension number, or dial 9 and an outside phone number.
  3. Press DONE.

Cancelling Call Forwarding:

  1. Press the CALL FORWARD button.
  2. The green light will go off and forwarding is now cancelled.

Adding a Contact:

  1. Press CONTACTS.
  2. Dial the person’s name who you are trying to reach.
  3. Press CALL.

Using the Contacts Button:

  1. Press CONTACTS.Press NEW.
  2. Enter the name, then press the down arrow.
  3. Enter the number, starting with a 9.
  4. Press SAVE.
